Coastal & Ocean Regeneration Alliance

A bluetech company that provides scalable and measurable
technologies for large scale reef ecosystem regeneration

Regenerate reef ecosystems. At scale.
Fast and for good.

Restoring reefs by outplanting them one coral at the time has been the bottleneck for achieving real scale.

Our vision is to implement large-scale coral reef regeneration projects fast, effective and measurable while considering the highest expectations on biodiversity and resilience. Through the CORAlliance ecosystem, we unite coastal nations, the private sector, environmental organizations, insurers, and investors to protect coastlines, sustain economies, and revive our ocean at large.

Powered by the patented Coral Primer & Paint, adaptable Coral Mesh systems, and autonomous & AI-driven impact monitoring, our solutions transform degraded reefs into thriving ecosystems – fast, cost-efficient, and built to last.

Vision

A global stakeholder Consortium

The Coastal & Ocean Regeneration Alliance (CORAlliance) is a global network that unites all stakeholders involved in the regeneration of reef ecosystems.

CORAlliance is the solution provider and ecosystem orchestrator to combine scientific findings, data driven environmental decision making, providing innovative technologies in exchange for thriving reefs as well as carbon & biodiversity certificates.

Solutions

CORAlliance offers the first patented, end-to-end system for large-scale coral reef regeneration — combining research, decade long field expertise, advanced bio-materials, and industrial deployment methods.

1. Coral Paint

A breakthrough bio-based hydrogel embeds crustose coralline algae, coral polyps, and coral larvae into a nutrient-rich carrier substance. The 7-step work flow eradicates fleshy macro algae, primes degraded reefs for stabilization and settlement, and applies our coral paint directly on top — resulting in up to 500× larger reef regeneration than manual transplantation in the same time.

2. Modular Living Coral Mesh

Mesh grids by the hectares, spiked with our coral paint with structural reef substrate across ensures uniform coverage, stabilization and high survival rates for heavily degraded reef areas and rubble fields.

3. Localized Mobile Cultivation

Containerized wet labs and floating sea tanks allow on-site cultivation of the coral paint components, adapted to local water chemistry, temperature, and species. This “geo-locked” production improves ecological fit, reduces transport losses, meets local environmental compliance and provides jobs for the local economy.

4. Scalable Application Technology

From diver-held spray lances to autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), our equipment applies bioactive gels precisely where needed. Multi-nozzle heads enable efficient coverage of complex reef topographies.

5. Impact Platform

A transparent, data-driven system for measuring restoration success against UN SDGs. Baseline reef surveys, KPI mapping, biodiversity measurements and automated progress reports provide stakeholders with certified, SDG-aligned impact tracking.

6. AI-Driven Monitoring

Autonomous underwater drones equipped with cameras and hyperspectral sensors deliver rapid insights into coral cover, growth, diversity, as well as environmental conditions — enabling predictive and cloud-based analytic modeling and continuous optimization of restoration strategies.

Long-lasting experience in Coral Restoration, combined with fundamental Coral Research and partnered with members of the Tech and Finance Industry.
